Park Rules

  • All persons or groups reserving a pavilion must have the permit with them when occupying the pavilion. The permit is for the pavilion only. The permit does not include any fields, courts, or play equipment. Any league/team authorized to use the fields is given first priority. The ball field may not be available during your time of pavilion rental
  • Permit fees are non-refundable.
  • All activities must be conducted according to the law. Any meeting or entertainment that is subversive to the doctrines of the United States, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or the Township of Cecil are not permitted.
  • Beverages are permitted only in the pavilion areas. No glass bottles or beverage trucks are permitted in the park.
  • Vehicles and motorbikes are prohibited in the park. All vehicles must be parked in the parking lot. Bicycles are permitted on the bike path.
  • No person shall either by word or act, indulge in any disorderly or indecent conduct, or disturb the peace or good order of the community. Games of chance are prohibited.
  • Fires are limited to those used for cooking, but only in designated receptacles, and must be extinguished by the person starting or using it.
  • No person shall damage or deface any part of the park nor remove or destroy any natural features.
  • Park hours are from dawn to dusk (6:00 am to 10:00 pm). These hours are strictly enforced.
  • No animals are permitted in the park (See the Township Code Section 162-2(I) https://ecode360.com/31153287). Leashed dogs going to the Montour trail are permitted.
  • The park is handicapped accessible.
  • All pavilions have electric service. The Township is not responsible for power outages, failures, or circuit overloads. The Township does not supply extra light bulbs.
  • Do not use staples on the picnic tables to secure coverings or decorations.
  • You must submit a Certificate of Insurance at the time of rental if you plan on having inflatable toys, jumpers, bounce houses, or similar activities.
