The Zoning Hearing Board is a three-member board with one alternate, with three-year terms:

Purpose

Members are empowered to rule on various provisions of the Township’s Unified Development Ordinance. Decisions are rendered on public appeals involving requests for special exceptions, variance, and zoning interpretations.

Appointment

Appointments to the Zoning Hearing Board are made by the Supervisors at their annual reorganization meeting held each January or when a vacancy occurs. Residents who are interested in serving are encouraged to submit a letter of interest and resume to the Township Manager.
